“Through the Mosaic,” a zero-waste collection, is an attempt at telling a story of Sri Lanka’s journey of becoming what it is today through a major event in its history: Dutch colonization.

Created during the Covid-19 lockdowns, “Traces” reflects a fraught moment of both stillness and uncertainty. As industries fell silent and resources grew scarce, Navyāti reconnected with its natural surroundings, to create a minimalist, handmade collection, offering a sense of calm and resilience in a time of global uncertainty.

“Tales of a Path” attempts to narrate Sri Lanka’s journey through diverse paths, past and present; of moments in which we find our identity in the midst of constant motion.

Inspired by Kandyan temple art and costumes, “Tales of an Island” draws from and plays with Sri Lanka’s rich yet complex heritage in order to narrate a tale that embodies both the ancient and the contemporary.
