What is a Custom Order?

A custom order refers to a garment that is created specifically after an order is placed but is not held in ready stock. At Navyāti, custom orders follow two distinct paths:

1. Custom Design Orders
   This refers to an entirely custom designed garment that is created exclusively for the client. These pieces are developed from concept to completion according to client requirements, and therefore, are unique, one-of-a-kind designs.
2. Made-to-Order from an Existing Collection
   Navyāti produces garments in small batches. In some cases, clients may not find their size available in a released collection. In such instances, we encourage clients to inquire about having a released style made to their size.
   Please note that the possibility of this option depends on fabric and material availability, and therefore cannot always be guaranteed.

Why Choose Custom Orders?

Navyāti produces garments in limited quantities in order to maintain quality, to preserve the integrity of our designs, to reduce waste, and to avoid excess production. As a result, certain sizes or styles may not be reproduced once a small batch is complete.

However, we believe that no one who connects with a Navyāti design should miss the opportunity to wear it. Custom orders allow us to extend our designs beyond fixed production runs, giving clients the opportunity to engage more closely with the brand and the designer.

We also believe in encouraging Navyāti wearers to be bold, expressive, and confident in their own way. A custom order offers the space to discuss ideas directly with the designer and to develop a garment that feels personal and intentional. Each piece is created with heightened care, refined construction techniques, and a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, ensuring that the final garment remains true to the Navyāti ethos while reflecting the individuality of the wearer.

How long will it take to complete my custom order?

Production timelines vary depending on the nature of the order.
On average:

• One-of-a-kind custom designs: 6–8 weeks
• Made-to-order collection styles: 4–6 weeks

These timelines include production time only. Once the garment is completed, it will be dispatched within 1–2 working days.

Can there be delays?

Navyāti garments involve multiple stages of production, including fabric sourcing, sampling, and detailed craftsmanship. While we aim to meet estimated timelines, delays may occur due to material availability or quality control requirements.

In the unlikely event of a delay, our team will contact you promptly with an update.

Can I cancel a custom order?

Due to the made-to-order nature of custom pieces, custom orders may only be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase.

After this period, production begins and cancellations will not be accepted.
